Eleana Chrysanthou

Eleana graduated from the University of Leicester (Law LLB) with honors in 2009 and she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law in 2015 from the University of London and her MBA from CIIM/University of Limassol in 2023. Eleana joined Chryssafinis and Polyviou LLC in August 2015 and she is currently a member of the firm’s Advisory Department.

Eleana focuses on corporate and commercial law, advising both local and international clients on a broad spectrum of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and transactional matters. Her expertise includes incorporation, administration, and ongoing management of companies, corporate governance, corporate restructurings and the provision of corporate secretarial services. She is extensively involved in the review, drafting and negotiation of corporate and commercial documentation. She also advises clients on intellectual property matters, with expertise in the registration of trademarks.

Eleana participated in several legal due diligence projects (including due diligence exercises and risk assessments with respect to non-performing loans and their collateral package), undertaking comprehensive reviews of corporate records, contractual arrangements and corporate structures in connection with mergers and acquisitions, investments, financing transactions, and corporate reorganisations.
