Stavroula Andreou

Stavroula has been a member of Chryssafinis & Polyviou LLC since 2017. She brings more than 20 years of litigation experience, having previously practiced in some of Cyprus’s leading law firms, where she advised and represented both domestic and international clients across a broad range of complex matters.

In 2015, Stavroula successfully passes the Insolvency Practitioners examinations and became a licensed Insolvency Practitioner in Cyprus. She is among the first generation of registered Insolvency Practitioners following the introduction of the Insolvency Framework in Cyprus, enabling her to act as an Examiner or Liquidator and also to advice clients on corporate and personal insolvency, restructuring liquidation, examinership, receivership and related proceedings.

Throughout her distinguished legal career, Stavroula has developed substantial expertise in banking law, employment law, tort law, contract law, corporate litigation, insurance law, administrations and family law. Since joining our firm, her practice has primarily focused on banking litigation, employment disputes, torts and insurance claims.

Stavroula has extensive advocacy experience before the District Courts of Cyprus and the Industrial Tribunal Court, where she has successfully represented clients. Her practice includes claims arising from banking and finance transactions, employment disputes, contractual breaches, negligence and tortious liability and insurance claims.
