Xenia was awarded an LLB from the University of King’s College London in 2003. She was then admitted to the Bar after successfully completing the Bar Vocational Course in College of Law (with Distinction). She is also a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. She joined the Firm straight after her studies in 2004 and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2005, after successfully passing the exams with Distinction.
Xenia is a Senior Legal Practitioner and Partner in the Firm, with over 20 years of experience in representing and advising financial institutions, corporations, investment funds and private clients on complex banking, finance, insolvency/bankruptcy and property law matters. She has built long-term relationships with major banking clients and investment funds, through commercially focused legal advice.
Xenia has an extensive experience in representing clients before District Courts, Appellate Courts and other judicial authorities in contentious banking, commercial and property disputes, while also advising on high-value commercial transactions. She provides strategic legal opinions on financial and commercial risks. She has a proven ability to lead legal teams, manage client relationships and negotiate commercially favourable outcomes for clients. She also oversees complex legal projects, while mentoring junior lawyers and supervises litigation strategy.
She is recognised for her tactical and thorough legal advice, strong advocacy, commercial awareness and exceptional negotiation and drafting skills. Experienced in loan portfolio transactions, debt restructuring, enforcement proceedings, and property law proceedings, Xenia has the ability to combine legal expertise with commercial objectives to deliver practical, business-oriented solutions.
Xenia is also a certified member of the Cyprus ADR CENTRE, having successfully completed a specialised arbitrator training course qualifying her as an Arbitrator in Alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
She is fluent in Greek and English and very good in French.
