Vassilis Tsangarides

Vassilis is an advocate at Chryssafinis & Polyviou LLC since 2023. Vassilis obtained his LLB from the University of Nottingham and his LLM from the University of Bristol. He then successfully completed the Bar Practice Course earning his call to the Bar and the title of Barrister before being admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2023.

Vassilis has represented clients in a variety of cases, before both District Courts and the Cyprus Supreme Court, handling and adjudicating complex cases of Banking Law including loans, bonds and foreign currency loans.

Furthermore, Vassilis possesses experience in representing clients in proceedings involving a wide range of applications. This includes both before-judgment such as interim orders/ex parte freezing orders of immovable property against third parties invoking the Court’s Chabra Jurisdiction, post-judgment applications such as applications to renew judgments and/or applications to set aside judgments as well as applications for the granting of privileged writs such as certiorari applications.
